Walk, support a good cause, and win a prize!
This Sunday, November 22, Hollywood Community Walks is holding a Thanksgiving food drive in addition to their neighborhood walk. If you RSVP and attend, you’ll have the chance to win a $75 American Express gift card! The walk will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Hollywood Adventist Church at 1711 North Van Ness Avenue. Nathan, who leads these walks regularly, asks that attendees bring some fresh fruits or vegetables that you can grab from the Hollywood Farmers’ Market that morning. The church will collect food from 3-3:45 p.m. before the walk, and will distribute it to local families in need at the beginning of the week.
